First Reading: Genesis 12.1-14
When has God called me to new challenges and new undertakings in life and in my spiritual journey? How did I recognize and respond to God’s call? What did those experiences teach me about God and his promises, and about faith?

How do I feel about suffering, especially about “suffering for the Gospel”? What challenges have I faced when it was difficult to accept God’s will? How has the grace of Christ been active in my life, in those or other circumstances?

PARISH NEWS
In preparation for our parish celebration of the Feast of St. Joseph, everyone is invited to pray the Novena to St. Joseph, starting on Thursday March 9, after weekday and Saturday morning Masses and Sunday 11:30 am Mass.
In the spirit of Lenten almsgiving, St. Joseph's Youth & Young Adults will be supporting the Sisters of Charity by accepting food donations on Saturday, March 18th for our community members in need. Non-perishable items can be placed in the donation bin in the church parlor after Sunday mass before the 18th. Perishable foods will be collected on Saturday, March 18th at the end of the Church. Thank you for your support.
During the Lenten Season, our Parish will have “Stations of the Cross” every Wednesday, beginning at 6:20pm. All are encouraged to attend.
On Saturday, March 18 at 10:30am there will be a Bilingual Mass celebrating the Feast of St. Joseph, followed by food and entertainment, please sign up your name and number of attendee into the sign up sheet available at the church entrance.
On Wednesday, March 22nd, everyone is invited to join the Lenten penitential service at 7 p.m. There will be a sermon given by a guest priest, followed by confession, accompanied by music from the Youth and Young Adult Ministry.
Our Parish is always looking for volunteers who are willing to donate their time and talents in various areas such as: sacristans, readers, altar servers, choir members, gift bearers, parking lot attendants and so much more. Please speak with the Mass coordinator if you are able to help or would like more information.
