When the shroud of death was cast over all peoples with the Original Sin, God had a plan for salvation. What are my tears and hopes, for when my life on earth comes to an end? How do I envision the end of time?

Psalm 23: “I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.”

Second Reading: Philippians 4.12-14, 19-20

How has God supported me through times of need and times of plenty? How can I support others in their difficulties and strengthen their hope and trust in God?

Alleluia! May the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ enlighten the eyes of our heart, that we might know the hope to which we are called.” Alleluia.

Gospel: Matthew 22.1-14

How does God invite us to the kingdom of heaven? What is my attitude to his invitation? Why might someone ignore the invitation, or even react against it? What should we expect if we accept, and what does God expect of us?
