First Reading: Acts2.14a, 36b-41

If we believe in the Resurrection and accept Jesus as Lord and Christ, what should we do? How have I replied to God’s call? How has being Christian impacted my life?

Psalm 23: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want”.

Second Reading: 1 Peter 2.20b-25

How do I follow Christ’s example and “live for righteousness”? When have I had to suffer for choosing Christ? How has the good shepherd accompanied me?

“Alleluia. Alleluia. I am the good shepherd, says the Lord; I know my sheep, and my own know me. Alleluia.

Gospel: John 10.1-10

How do I understand what Jesus meant by the metaphors of the gate, the shepherd and the sheep? How does the imagery compare with my experience of Jesus and the Church, and of the threats to my faith? What would I add or change in the description?
